Work with FEED

As a client, you meet directly with FEED dietitians, in our office, in the comfort of your own home or at your favorite grocery store or coffee shop. FEED’s individualized counseling starts with listening and by asking the right questions to get to know you, your family, and the routines and factors that limit and affect your eating. Only then can healthy eating habits and the management of health conditions be both successful and sustainable.

Working with FEED starts by taking a brief moment to fill out and submit a simple form on the contact page.

We will then reach out to you by phone or email to discuss your needs and recommend the specific service or services that best address your health needs. An appointment – or a series of appointments – is arranged for, and an invoice is provided at the time of appointment.

Then, the booked consultations are conducted at the arranged time and place. Appointments typically run about 60-90 minutes. Payment is requested at the time of appointment.

Insurance Coverage and Flexible Spending Account Reimbursements

Depending on your insurance coverage and the rules for your healthcare flexible spending account (FSA), you may be able to have your FEED nutrition counseling covered partially or completely by your health insurance plan, and/or be able to pay for FEED services with untaxed funds in your FSA.

The invoice you receive from FEED serves as an official receipt of services for you to submit to your insurance company. If you have a flexible spending account, you may be able to seek reimbursement. Check with your insurance carrier and FSA administrator for more information.
