    MISSION

    Kids need guidance when it comes to making smart eating decisions, however, many parents don't practice healthy eating habits themselves. Lara Field, a Chicago based pediatric registered dietitian, can help teach you the vital tools needed to establish a healthy lifestyle for your family. Learn from FEED and help your kids benefit from Forming Early Eating Decisions that will last a lifetime.

    What is a RD?

    A Registered Dietitian is a food and nutrition expert who has met criteria to earn the "RD" credential including: completing a minimum of a bachelor's degree and course work approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly known as the American Dietetic Association); followed by an internship or accredited supervised practice program at a healthcare facility, community agency, or a foodservice corporation, passing a national examination; and the completion of professional educational requirements annually to maintain registration.
